Target Information
TIP60은 HIV-1 TAT 상호작용 단백질로 처음 분리된 전사 인자입니다. 바이러스 TAT 단백질과 상호작용하여 HTATIP의 폴리유비퀴틴화를 유도하고 분해를 촉진합니다. MYST 계열의 히스톤 아세틸전이효소(HAT) 가족에 속하며, NuA4 히스톤 아세틸전이효소 복합체의 촉매 서브유닛으로서 히스톤 H4 및 H2A의 아세틸화를 통해 특정 유전자의 전사를 활성화합니다. TIP60은 전사 인자의 공동조절자로서 종양형성 억제 또는 촉진 역할을 하며, DNA 수리 및 세포사멸 과정에서도 중요한 기능을 수행합니다. 또한 신호전달 경로에서 중요한 역할을 하는 효소로 알려져 있습니다.
