Target Information
SSEA-3 (Stage-Specific Embryonic Antigen 3)는 세포 표면 항원으로, SSEA-4, TRA-1-60, TRA-1-81과 함께 배아줄기세포, 배아암세포, 유도만능줄기세포(iPS)에서 발현됩니다. 인간 세포에서는 분화 과정 중 이러한 표면 마커들이 하향 조절되며, SSEA-1은 미분화 상태의 인간 줄기세포에서는 발현되지 않지만 레티노산 매개 분화 후 세포 표면에서 발현이 증가합니다. 반대로 마우스 줄기세포에서는 SSEA-1 발현이 분화 시 감소하고, SSEA-3 및 SSEA-4 발현이 증가합니다.
