Function:
INTS3 is a component of the SOSS complex, which acts downstream of the MRN complex to promote DNA repair and G2/M checkpoint activation. It associates with single-stranded DNA at damage sites, influencing cell-cycle checkpoint activation, recombinational repair, and genomic stability. Required for efficient homologous recombination-dependent repair of DSBs and ATM-dependent signaling pathways.
