Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and expressed in HEK293 cells. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
MAPKAPK2 mediates p38 and ERK signaling in vivo and is involved in various cellular processes such as stress and inflammatory responses, nuclear export, gene expression regulation, and cell proliferation. It encodes a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family and is regulated through direct phosphorylation by p38 MAP kinase. Heat shock protein HSP27 is one of its known substrates. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
