Target Information
Kallikreins는 다양한 생리학적 기능을 가진 serine protease 하위 그룹입니다. 여러 연구에서 kallikrein이 암 발생 및 질병 바이오마커로서의 잠재적 역할을 가진다는 증거가 있습니다. 이 유전자는 염색체 19에 위치한 15개의 kallikrein 서브패밀리 중 하나이며, 저분자 키니노겐으로부터 vasoactive peptide인 Lys-bradykinin을 방출하는 기능을 가지고 있습니다.
