Product Specific Information

This donkey anti-rat IgG (H+L) whole secondary antibody is affinity-purified and exhibits minimal cross-reactivity to bovine, chicken, goat, guinea pig, hamster, horse, human, mouse, rabbit, and sheep serum proteins.
Cross-adsorption enhances antibody specificity, improving sensitivity and reducing background staining. This step is particularly beneficial in multiplex or multicolor staining experiments such as flow cytometry or fluorescence imaging.

Alexa Fluor 568 dye is a bright orange/red fluorophore with excitation ideally suited to the 568 nm laser line. It provides stable, pH-insensitive fluorescence with high quantum yield and photostability. The typical labeling ratio is 2–8 fluorophore molecules per IgG molecule.

Before use, briefly centrifuge the conjugate solution and use only the supernatant to avoid aggregates. Recommended working concentration for most applications is 1–10 µg/mL.
