For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The CD4 antigen is involved in the recognition of MHC class II molecules and functions as a co-receptor for HIV.
CD4 is primarily expressed in T helper cells but may also be found in monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells.
Tissue expression includes thymus, lymph nodes, tonsils, spleen, and certain brain and gut regions.
CD4 participates in early T-cell activation through its association with the T-cell receptor complex and protein tyrosine kinase Lck.
It may also mediate neuronal damage in infectious and immune-mediated CNS diseases.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcripts have been identified (RefSeq, July 2017).
