Target Information
BATF3 (also known as SNFT) is a member of the basic leucine zipper transcriptional family. It functions as a transcriptional repressor when heterodimerizing with Jun and can repress transcription of IL-2 and MMP-1.
BATF3 is essential for the development of CD8α⁺ classical dendritic cells (DCs) and related CD103⁺ DCs that cross-present antigens to CD8 T cells.
