Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The MIPEP gene product catalyzes the final step in processing nuclear-encoded proteins targeted to the mitochondrial matrix or inner membrane. It plays a key role in the maturation of oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS)-related proteins and may be involved in the functional effects of frataxin deficiency, contributing to the clinical manifestations of Friedreich ataxia.
