Target Information
REG1A 유전자는 Reg 유전자 패밀리의 type I subclass 구성원으로, 분비성 외분비 췌장에서 발현되는 단백질을 암호화합니다.
이 단백질은 췌도 세포 재생 및 당뇨병 발생과 관련이 있으며, 췌장 결석 형성과도 관련될 수 있습니다.
REG1B, REGL, PAP 등 Reg 패밀리의 다른 구성원들과 함께 염색체 2p12에 위치하며, 동일한 조상 유전자의 중복으로부터 유래한 것으로 추정됩니다.
