Target Information
Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of the specified target. Secondary antibodies increase versatility by enabling various detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and enhance sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, they are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
