Target Information

CHIA는 키틴(chitin)과 키토트리오스(chitotriose)를 분해하며, 선충 및 기타 병원체에 대한 방어에 관여할 수 있습니다.
세 가지 isoform이 alternative splicing에 의해 생성됩니다.
CHIA는 Th2 특이적 interleukin-13 경로를 통해 상피세포 및 대식세포에서 유도되며, 천식과 같은 Th2 우세 질환에서 IL13 유도 반응의 중요한 매개체로 작용할 수 있습니다.
CHIA는 N-acetyl-beta-D-glucosaminide 1,4-beta-linkage를 가수분해하여 chitin 및 chitodextrin을 분해합니다.
