Product Specific Information

  • Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
  • Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.

Target Information

LEF1 encodes a transcription factor belonging to a family of proteins sharing homology with high mobility group protein-1. It binds to a site in the T-cell receptor-alpha enhancer to confer maximal enhancer activity. LEF1 is involved in the Wnt signaling pathway and may function in hair cell differentiation and follicle morphogenesis. Mutations have been found in sebaceous tumors and other cancers, including androgen-independent prostate cancer. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
