NKTR 유전자는 막에 결합된 단백질을 암호화하며, 친수성 아미노 말단 도메인과 cyclophilin-유사 PPIase 도메인을 포함합니다. 이 단백질은 자연 살해 세포(NK cell) 표면에 존재하며, 표적 세포와의 결합을 촉진합니다. 또한 IL2 활성화에 의해 발현이 조절됩니다.
