- Predicted to react with bovine, canine, mouse, and rat based on sequence homology.
- Tested in Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:128,000.

Phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) consists of an 85 kDa regulatory subunit and a 110 kDa catalytic subunit.
The protein encoded by PIK3CA represents the catalytic subunit, which utilizes ATP to phosphorylate PtdIns, PtdIns4P, and PtdIns(4,5)P2.
This gene is oncogenic and has been implicated in cervical cancers.
