Target Information
Heterotrimeric guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) integrate signals between receptors and effector proteins and consist of alpha, beta, and gamma subunits. These subunits are encoded by families of related genes. The GNB4 gene encodes a beta subunit, which regulates alpha subunits and certain signal transduction receptors and effectors.
