Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10–20 minutes, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Topoisomerase II alpha (Topo IIα) plays crucial roles in DNA synthesis, transcription, and chromosomal segregation during mitosis. It serves as a sensitive and specific marker of late S-, G2-, and M-phases in transformed and developmentally regulated normal cells. Additionally, Topo IIα is implicated in drug resistance of tumor cells.
