Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
P504S/AMACR (α-Methylacyl-CoA Racemase) is an essential enzyme involved in the β-oxidation of branched-chain fatty acids.
High expression of P504S protein is observed in prostatic adenocarcinoma, but not in benign prostate tissue, by IHC staining in paraffin-embedded samples.
Expression is also detected in premalignant prostate lesions, including high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PIN) and atypical adenomatous hyperplasia.
