Product Specific Information
This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.
Advantages of recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies:
- Better specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulation
- Broader immunoreactivity due to the rabbit immune repertoire
This antibody has specificity for Human COMMD9.
Target Information
COMMD9 may modulate activity of cullin-RING E3 ubiquitin ligase (CRL) complexes (PubMed:21778237). It may down-regulate activation of NF-kappa-B (PubMed:15799966) and modulate Na(+) transport in epithelial cells by regulating apical cell surface expression of amiloride-sensitive sodium channel (ENaC) subunits (PubMed:23637203).
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
