Product Specific Information
- For immunohistochemistry on PFA-fixed tissues, incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Moesin is a member of the talin-4.1 superfamily and functions as a linking protein of the submembranous actin cytoskeleton. It is expressed in macrophages, lymphocytes, fibroblastic, endothelial, epithelial, and neuronal cell lines, but not in blood cells. Moesin plays a role in cell adhesion, migration, and organization of cell surface structures.
