ASCC2는 DNA 손상 복구에 관여하는 ASCC 복합체의 구성 요소로, polyubiquitinated 단백질의 Lys-63 연결 사슬을 인식하여 ASCC3 및 ALKBH3를 손상 부위로 모집합니다 (PubMed:29144457). 또한 NF-kappa-B, SRF, AP1 전사활성을 증강시키는 ASC-1 복합체의 일부로 작용합니다 (PubMed:12077347). [UniProt]
