Target Information
CTAG2는 ESO/LAGE 계열의 cancer-testis 항원에 속하는 자가면역성 종양 항원을 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 흑색종, 유방암, 방광암, 전립선암 등 다양한 암에서 발현되며, 정상 고환 조직에서도 발현됩니다.
PMID:10399963에서 보고된 대체 개방 판독틀(open reading frame) 산물인 CAMEL은 흑색종 특이적 세포독성 T-림프구에 의해 인식되는 종양 항원으로 알려져 있습니다.
대체 스플라이싱으로 인해 여러 전사 변이체가 존재합니다.
