Target Information
Caspr2는 척추동물 신경계에서 세포 접착 분자 및 수용체로 작용하는 neurexin 패밀리 단백질입니다. EGF 반복, laminin G 도메인, F5/8 type C 도메인, discoidin/neuropilin- 및 fibrinogen-like 도메인, thrombospondin N-terminal-like 도메인 및 PDZ 결합 부위를 포함합니다. 이 단백질은 수초화된 축삭의 juxtaparanode에 위치하며, 신경과 교세포 간 상호작용 및 축삭 내 칼륨 채널의 위치 조절에 관여합니다. Caspr2 유전자는 인간 염색체 7의 약 1.5%를 차지하며, FOXP2 전사인자에 의해 직접 조절됩니다. Tourette 증후군, 조현병, 간질, 자폐증, ADHD 및 지적 장애 등 여러 신경발달 장애와 관련이 있습니다.
