Target Information
EIF2a (Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2A)는 알파, 베타, 감마의 세 가지 서브유닛으로 구성된 헤테로트리머 단백질로, 개시 메티오닐-tRNA를 40S 리보솜에 결합시켜 AUG 의존적인 43S 전개시 복합체를 형성합니다. 스트레스 반응에 의해 활성화된 단백질 키나아제에 의해 인산화될 수 있으며, 인산화된 EIF2A는 EIF2B 활성을 억제하여 구아닌 뉴클레오타이드 교환을 방지합니다.
