For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The APBB1 gene encodes a member of the Fe65 protein family, an adaptor protein localized in the nucleus. It interacts with the Alzheimer’s disease amyloid precursor protein (APP), transcription factor CP2/LSF/LBP1, and the low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein. APP acts as a cytosolic anchoring site that can prevent nuclear translocation of APBB1. This protein may play an important role in Alzheimer’s disease pathogenesis and transcription regulation. It has also been observed to block cell cycle progression by downregulating thymidylate synthase expression. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described, though some full-length sequences remain uncharacterized.
