Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the alcohol dehydrogenase family. These enzymes metabolize a wide range of substrates, including ethanol, retinol, aliphatic alcohols, hydroxysteroids, and lipid peroxidation products.
This protein forms homo- and heterodimers of alpha, beta, and gamma subunits, exhibiting high activity for ethanol oxidation and playing a key role in ethanol catabolism.
The genes encoding the alpha, beta, and gamma subunits are arranged tandemly in a genomic segment as a gene cluster.
