Mouse anti-Sheep CD45 antibody, clone 1.11.32, recognizes ovine CD45 (Leukocyte common antigen), expressed on all ovine lymphocytes, macrophages, and granulocytes.

Target Information

CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) expressed on all nucleated hematopoietic cells, accounting for about 10% of all surface proteins on lymphocytes. It is absent on non-hematopoietic cells and tissues. CD45 plays a key role in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling, regulating Src-family kinases and JAK kinases, and influencing cytokine receptor signaling. It also contributes to cell survival, integrin-mediated signaling, and apoptosis regulation. Multiple isoforms exist due to alternative splicing, differing in extracellular domains but sharing identical transmembrane and cytoplasmic domains.
