Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
UCK2 catalyzes the phosphorylation of uridine monophosphate to uridine diphosphate, the first step in the synthesis of pyrimidine nucleoside triphosphates required for RNA and DNA production. An allele of this gene may also play a role in mediating nonhumoral immunity to Haemophilus influenzae type B.
