Product Specific Information
Store vial at -20°C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
This affinity purified antibody is directed against human PDL1. Blast analysis of the sequence of the immunogen shows 100% identity with human.
Target Information
Programmed death receptor ligand 1 (PD-L1, also called B7-H1) is a B7 family member. One specific receptor, programmed death receptor 1 (PD-1), can be ligated by PD-L1 and negatively regulates T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling. Upon ligating its receptor, PD-L1 decreases TCR-mediated proliferation and cytokine production. PD-L1 expression is abundant on many murine and human cancers and can be up-regulated upon IFN-gamma stimulation. Thus, PD-L1 may play an important role in tumor immune evasion.
