• Reconstitution: Add 15 µL or 50 µL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
• The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

The receptor tyrosine kinase RET is a member of the cadherin superfamily. RET plays a crucial role in neural crest development and can undergo oncogenic activation by cytogenetic rearrangement. RET transduces signals for cell growth and differentiation.
Mutations in the RET gene are associated with multiple endocrine neoplasia type IIA and IIB, Hirschsprung disease, and medullary thyroid carcinoma. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified, with additional variants of uncertain biological validity.
