Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The MX1 gene encodes a guanosine triphosphate (GTP)-metabolizing protein involved in the antiviral response. This protein is induced by type I and type II interferons and inhibits replication of various RNA and DNA viruses. A related gene is located adjacent on chromosome 21, with multiple pseudogenes clustered on chromosome 4. Alternative splicing generates multiple transcript variants.
