Target Information
CD48 (Blast-1)는 Ig superfamily의 CD2 subset에 속하며, CD2, CD58, CD84, CD150, CD229, CD244 등의 분자와 상호작용합니다.
CD48은 GPI-anchored 단백질로, 조혈세포에서 널리 발현되며 2B4의 고친화성 리간드이자 CD2의 저친화성 리간드로 작용합니다.
NK 및 NK-T 세포 간의 2B4-CD48 상호작용은 세포 증식을 조절하며, CD48 신호전달은 호산구 활성화를 유도합니다.
CD48 발현은 여러 감염성 질환에서 증가하며, 림프구와 단핵구에서는 강하게, 과립구에서는 약하게 발현되며, 혈소판, 섬유아세포, 상피 및 내피에서는 발현되지 않습니다.
또한, CD48은 발작성 야간 혈색소뇨증(PNH) 환자에서 GPI anchoring 구조 결함 검출의 지표로 사용되며, 알레르기성 기도 질환의 병태생리에 관여할 수 있습니다.
이 항체는 알레르기 비염 및 천식 등 면역 관련 질환 연구의 잠재적 표적을 제공합니다.
