LRRK2는 kinase domain, GTPase domain, leucine-rich repeat (LRR) domain을 포함하는 다중 도메인 단백질입니다. LRRK2의 돌연변이는 파킨슨병과 관련이 있으며, leucine-rich repeat kinase family에 속합니다. 이 단백질은 ankyrin repeat region, leucine-rich repeat domain, kinase domain, DFG-like motif, RAS domain, GTPase domain, MLK-like domain, WD40 domain을 포함합니다. 주로 세포질에 존재하지만 미토콘드리아 외막과도 결합합니다.
