Target Information
ARAP2 (Centaurin-delta-1)는 ARF-GAP, RHO-GAP, ankyrin repeat, RAS-associating, pleckstrin homology 도메인을 가진 단백질입니다.
이 단백질은 phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate 의존적 GTPase-activating protein으로, RhoA-GTP에 결합하지만 RHO-GAP 도메인 내 예측된 촉매 아르기닌이 없어 RHO-GAP 활성을 가지지 않습니다.
ARAP2는 ARF 및 RHO 계열 단백질을 조절하여 액틴 세포골격 재구성에 관여하며, phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate (PtdIns(3,4,5)P3) 결합에 의해 활성화됩니다. 또한 phosphatidylinositol-3,4-bisphosphate (PtdIns(3,4,5)P2)에 의해 낮은 효율로 활성화될 수 있습니다.
ARAP2는 focal adhesion과 결합하며, RhoA 하류에서 focal adhesion dynamics를 조절합니다. 주로 뇌, 흉선, 림프절, 갑상선, 척수, 기관, 심장, 골격근, 비장, 신장, 간, 태반, 폐 및 말초혈액 백혈구에서 발현됩니다.
