Target Information
Gephyrin은 억제성 신경전달 수용체를 시냅스 후 세포골격에 고정시키는 신경 조립 단백질로, 수용체 소단위 도메인과 튜불린 다이머에 높은 친화도로 결합합니다. 비신경 조직에서는 molybdenum cofactor 생합성에도 필요합니다. 이 유전자의 돌연변이는 hyperplexia 및 molybdenum cofactor 결핍과 관련이 있을 수 있습니다. 다양한 전사체 변이가 보고되었으나, 모든 전장 형태는 아직 완전히 규명되지 않았습니다.
