Target Information
TMEM176B (also known as LR8) is a transmembrane protein belonging to the MS4A family. It may play a role in dendritic cell maturation. TMEM176B was first discovered in human lung fibroblasts and is associated with small cell lung carcinoma. Studies suggest that TMEM176B may be involved in cancer and serve as a potential target for antiangiogenic therapy. Two isoforms are produced by alternative splicing.
