Target Information
TRIP6 is a member of the zyxin family and encodes a protein containing three LIM zinc-binding domains.
This protein localizes to focal adhesion sites and actin stress fibers, and its recruitment to the plasma membrane is lysophosphatidic acid (LPA)-dependent, regulating LPA-induced cell migration.
Several alternatively spliced variants exist, though not all have been fully characterized.
