For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

MAGEA9 belongs to the MAGEA gene family, whose members share 50–80% sequence identity. These genes have coding sequences located in the last exon, with variable promoters and first exons, allowing differential transcriptional control.
MAGEA genes are highly expressed in various tumor types but silent in normal tissues except testis and placenta. They are clustered on chromosome Xq28 and may be associated with certain hereditary disorders such as dyskeratosis congenita.
