Target Information

Histone H3 is one of the DNA-binding proteins found in the chromatin of all eukaryotic cells. Together with four core histone proteins, it forms the nucleosome structure.
Histones are central to transcription regulation, DNA repair, replication, and chromosomal stability. Post-translational modifications such as methylation, acetylation, and phosphorylation occur on the N-terminal tail of histone H3, influencing chromatin structure and transcription factor binding.
