Target Information
ARC는 시냅스 가소성의 주요 조절자로, RNA를 포획하고 신경계 내 세포 간 RNA 전달을 매개하는 바이리온 유사 캡시드를 형성합니다. 뉴런에서 분비되어 새로운 표적 세포로 ARC mRNA를 전달하며, 장기 강화(LTP), 장기 억제(LTD), 장기 기억 형성에 필수적입니다. 또한 AMPA 수용체의 엔도사이토시스를 촉진하여 시냅스 활동에 따른 수용체 수준을 조절하고, 시냅스 제거 및 신경계 항상성 유지에 기여합니다. 면역계에서도 피부 이동성 수지상세포에서 발현되어 T세포 활성화를 조절하는 역할을 합니다.
