Target Information
DCPS 단백질은 정상적인 mRNA 분해 및 nonsense-mediated decay 과정에서 mRNA의 완전한 분해에 필수적입니다.
이 효소는 3'→5' exosome에 의해 생성된 10개 뉴클레오타이드 이하의 mRNA 조각에서 7-methyl guanine cap 구조를 제거하여 m7GMP를 방출합니다.
m7GDP를 m7GMP로 분해할 수도 있으며, 25개 뉴클레오타이드보다 긴 mRNA에는 작용하지 않습니다.
