The antibody detects endogenous levels of total PEX10 / Peroxin 10 protein.
Target Information
This gene encodes a protein involved in the import of peroxisomal matrix proteins. The protein localizes to the peroxisomal membrane. Mutations in this gene cause phenotypes within the Zellweger spectrum of peroxisomal biogenesis disorders, including neonatal adrenoleukodystrophy and Zellweger syndrome. Alternative splicing results in two transcript variants encoding different isoforms. (RefSeq, Jul 2008)
