Target Information
The Hedgehog signaling pathway plays an important role in early human development. It regulates pattern formation and cellular proliferation during development. The SUFU gene encodes a negative regulator of this pathway, and defects in SUFU are associated with medulloblastoma. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
