Target Information
Napsin 1은 주로 폐에서 발현되는 아스파르트산 프로테아제로, 신장 및 전이성 암 조직에서도 발견됩니다. 정상 폐 및 신장 조직에서는 서팩턴트 단백질 B를 처리하지만, 암 발생 시 조절 이상이 나타납니다.
Napsin 1 평가는 여러 암의 진단 및 원발성 종양과 전이성 종양의 구분에 유용합니다. Thyroid transcription factor 분석과 병행 시, 암 유형 구분을 위한 특이적 바이오마커로 활용될 수 있습니다. 또한 폐포 단백질증 및 신세뇨관 단백질 대사와도 관련이 있습니다.
