Target Information
이 유전자는 염색체 17q-arm에 위치한 여러 사이토카인 유전자 중 하나입니다. 사이토카인은 면역 조절 및 염증 과정에 관여하는 분비 단백질군으로, 본 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 CXC 사이토카인 하위군과 구조적으로 유사합니다.
이 사이토카인은 단핵구 및 호염기구에 대한 화학주성을 나타내지만, 호중구나 호산구에는 작용하지 않습니다. 또한 건선, 류머티즘성 관절염, 동맥경화증 등 단핵구 침윤이 특징인 질환의 발병에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
이 단백질은 CCR2 및 CCR4 케모카인 수용체와 결합합니다.
