Target Information
AMOT (Angiomotin)은 angiostatin 결합 단백질 계열인 motin family에 속하며, 보존된 coiled-coil 도메인과 C-말단 PDZ 결합 모티프를 특징으로 합니다.
AMOT는 ARHGAP17과 복합체를 형성하여 tight junction 유지에 중요한 역할을 하며, polarity 단백질의 흡수를 조절합니다.
주로 모세혈관과 태반의 혈관 내피세포에서 발현되며, angiostatin의 억제 효과를 매개하여 신생 혈관 형성 과정에서 내피세포의 이동과 관 형성을 조절할 수 있습니다.
