Product Specific Information
Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Bcl-6 proto-oncogene product is a Kruppel-type zinc-finger protein mainly expressed in normal germinal center B cells and related lymphomas.
It is involved in chromosome rearrangements at 3q27 in non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas, detected in 33–45% of diffuse large B cell lymphomas.
Immunohistochemically, Bcl-6 has been found in follicular lymphomas, diffuse large B cell lymphomas, Burkitt’s lymphomas, and nodular lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin’s disease.
