Target Information
TSC22 domain family member 3 (TSC22D3) is a leucine zipper protein functioning as a transcriptional regulator. Its expression is stimulated by glucocorticoids and IL-10, playing a key role in anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive processes. TSC22D3 interacts with NF-Kappa-B and AP-1, inhibiting their activity, and acts as a transcriptional co-activator for nuclear receptors. It is also implicated in mesenchymal stem cell differentiation toward osteoblasts and bone formation.
