Target Information
The antibody 45M1 reacts with MUC5AC, a mucin protein expressed in epithelial tissues. It recognizes the Lewisa/b blood group antigen, a carbohydrate determinant carried on glycolipids and glycoproteins, detected on erythrocytes, epithelial cells, and in secretions of certain individuals.
