Target Information

FUS/TLS, originally described as fused in sarcoma, is involved in various cellular processes and is associated with multiple diseases.
FUS binds both single- and double-stranded DNA and acts as a recognition site for transcription factors.
Disruption of FUS functions is linked to liposarcoma, lipoma, leukemia, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), indicating its essential role in maintaining normal cellular transcription and RNA-binding functions.
